Exhausted
So we got up at 4am yesterday, and I got to sleep at 4am this morning – I guess most people were up for 24 hours or so.
Bizarrely, my shoulders ache like hell and not my legs, and I have the most attractive bags under my eyes from not really getting much sleep over the last two days.
Neil, myself, and the three others in our team, got round all 274 station in a respectable 19 hours, 28 minutes – without running! My head hurts too much to even considering going it all right now, but an excellent write up of the day with some fantastic photos appear on Annie Mole’s Underground Blogspot. Go have a read!
In the meantime, today I’ve got go and be more of a media whore with an interview on the World Service at lunchtime, and I’ve already had two new radio stations ring me up this morning, this in addition to getting on all the local & home counties BBC stations, LBC and Virgin Radio yesterday.
I’ll write it all up, but first I need to go and have a shower as I have ‘black bogey’ syndrome … it’s not a pretty sight !!

After living in London for the first 33 years of my life and working for the
So for ten weeks in June, July and August 2009, I drove 20,000 miles around the the lower 48 contiguous states of the USA visiting towns and places that shared the same name as places on The London
WELL DONE EVERYONE!!
You are SUCH a media tart!!
Seriously though, well done that’s brilliant coverage and really counters the research that King’s College released today saying thethat Londoners are scared to travel on the tube – it’s on thisislondon’s website.
Like all research though it must be taken with a massive pinch oof salt as it was done only two weeks after the first attacks and naturally Londoners may have been a bit dubious about Tube travel THEN but I wuld say it’s changed massively now
Good luck at the interviews mate !!!
Well done – all of you! Wish I’d been there! Spent last night trying to dance a Wiener Waltz properly in preparation for my wedding tomorrow…
