Excellent … a point of view that agrees with my own that the death of John Peel and all the tributes going for him one year one from his death are possibly going too far.
Lots of emails doing the round at the moment, but here’s one which is quite novel:
The following domains are all real … but read them carefully!
First there is Who Represents?, a database for agencies to the rich and
famous: http://www.whorepresents.com/Second is the Experts Exchange, a knowledge base where programmers can
exchange advice and views: http://www.expertsexchange.com/Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island: http://www.penisland.net/
Need a therapist? Try: http://www.therapistfinder.com/
Finally we have the Mole Station Native Nursery, based in New South
Wales: http://www.molestationnursery.com/
That done, I need to give a quick “hello” and mention of a nice chap that I met on Monday. Step forward Richard Johnson (#525) who becomes my latest post-500 iPod contributor (with the money going into a charity pot, natch), whom I caught up with this week.
Richard often comments here under the name of ‘chich’ which to me sounds like a bit of a girls name (!) but no – he is genuinely nice guy, who chooses the tune “Station approach” by Elbow as it has a transport theme. Cheers mate!
Anyway, we spend time in the Apple Store on Monday seeing if the new iPod Videos had come in yet (they hadn’t), but that of course was Monday. Today is Wednesday, and I’ve just heard rumour that Regent Street store has now got them in stock … I’m on my way!

After living in London for the first 33 years of my life and working for the
So for ten weeks in June, July and August 2009, I drove 20,000 miles around the the lower 48 contiguous states of the USA visiting towns and places that shared the same name as places on The London
