Absolutely Fabulous
Yesterday, I ate a bit of banana. This is highly unusual – I can’t stand bananas.
Then I had some peanut butter, again – something I’m not usually that keen on.
Then I had a bit of banana with some peanut butter smeared on it – double whammy! And I have to admit that it was almost quite tasty.
Plus, I appear to have an influx of Oreos and Cinnamon Tic Tacs in the house.
Strange things are afoot …

After living in London for the first 33 years of my life and working for the
So for ten weeks in June, July and August 2009, I drove 20,000 miles around the the lower 48 contiguous states of the USA visiting towns and places that shared the same name as places on The London
Geoff, you seem to be transforming into your complete opposite. When’s “the operation”?
Sounds to me like you’re acclimatising yourself to a country with a considerably different dietary preference, i.e. unhealthy.
Well obviously I am sooo fat already of course…
Mmmm. I love Oreos almost as much as I love Cinnamon Tic Tacs.
Geoff, do I get a prize for spotting that the entry titles over the last week are all Pet Shop Boys songs?
Richard,
well you WOULD if it wasn’t for the fact that Ian spotted it first yesterday .. go look at the comments!!
I’ve been promised a prize from Geoff too (on something else) and still waiting! Son don’t your hopes too high if you do actually win something!
Happy New Year all
Oreos are good in that they contain the two major food groups.
Chocolate and white stuff.
They are excellent for your health.
The doctor has spoken.
Paul .. Er, what did I promise you a prize for? I did send out some Tunnocks caramels a few weeks ago to some people.
Ian is definetely getting a prize. it’s a CD full of Coldplay doing cover versions of James Blunt songs.
DG – email me your address and i’ll send you one of the Cinnamon Tic Tacs!
Any guesses on Geoff’s next PSB Derived Title? How about “We All Feel Better in the Dark”?
BTW, a note from pedants corner: Absolutely Fabulous wasn’t credited as being by PSB, only produced by them…
CD of Coldplay doing James Blunt covers? Sounds amusing.
Red, white and blue? It’s sweet Yankee justice.
#10 – Oh that’s good! i hadn’t thought of that. i was checking out some of my old PSB vinyl 7″ and 12″‘s earlier though for obscure B-side tracks, just to catch you all out …
I think I should be allowed any PSB-esque produce stuff. i.e Dusty Springfield, Liza Minelli, and they even wrote a song for Kylie once y’know…
and doesn’t Neil Tennant do backing vocals along with Neil Hannon (Divine Comedy) on a Robbie Williams song? that should be allowed too…
It must be obvious:
The Boy Who Couldn’t Keep His Clothes On.
Was that what it was?
It Doesn’t Often Snow At Christmas
My prize was for a “Google down error” thingy wotsit. I emailed the screenshot
No PSB songs that mention new year, or end of an old one, so I can’t even do an entry today. tsk!
my clothes are fully ON at the moment! (as i type this anyway…)
happy new year…
Indeed. 2006 people. ‘n’ all that!
May yours be as good as mine is currently panning out to be …
*dances and points*
Geoff had The Sex!
Uncle Geoff…where do babies come from?
Geoff…answer my email?? Stop what you are ‘doing’ and answer?? Please?
Take it easy Geoff old boy . . .
Might get to catch up with you this year…..
