Came and left the scene during the summer of 1998. And although not officially called a 'Devon' biscuit, they were the same style and shape as a 'Devon' as if Fox's had decided that instead of calling them 'Apple Devons' they'd call them 'Appletons'. But they haven't been seen in the shops for ages ... Milk Chocolate Sunbreaks A real crime this one - and I'm even more gutted as I don't have a picture of them. For the time that they exisited, Fox's Milk Chocolate Sunbreaks were easily the best biscuit that Fox's had ever produced... and then they vanished from the shelves! Why? How? C'mon Fox's - sort it out and bring them back! They were superb! Treacle Crunch Creams Have these been replaced by Caramel Crunch Creams? I rather suspect so. They used to come in what I think was a vaguely green coloured packaging, exactly the same style as other Crunch Cream biscuits, but with a sticky treacle sandwich filling.
Thick crunchy and chocolatey! You don't get many in packet, but they're very filling and definetely cookie like.
Identical in shape and size to their milk chocolate counterparts, but with huge chunky milk chocolate chips embedded in the biscuit instead. These went very well with an ice cold glass of milk.
The original milk chocolate choclatier. Quality packaging just tells you that these biscuits are going to be good even before you open them, but even then, they're not as nice as...
Which are superb. Make sure you chill them in the fridge though first. I once ate about 5 packets all in go, and still could have gone on ... totally delicious!
Well, they're OK, but I'd have to say that Fox's Buttertea biscuits aren't really amongst my favourite of Fox's. They seem like a bit of a poor man's Milk Chocolate Classic Crunch.
Plain Buttertea Without the chocolate! They're very dry as well. You absolutely have to have these with a cup of tea or your mouth would get too dry otherwise.
Like 'Rich Tea' biscuits that are widely available by other biscuits manufactuers... only they are a lot thicker in width! Ideal for those that like to dunk their biscuits into their tea.
