Not on the map

Museum - The London Transport Museum in Covent Garden, London (Nearest Tube Station: Covent Garden!) has got it's own 'Museum' sign right outside the entrance with a bench all the way around it where people alway sit to drink coffee and eat their lunch ...

Walford East - from EastEnders! This 'station' was built on the set in Eltsree especially for the BBC TV soap, and is supposedly a station on the District Line. The facia of the station comes completel with custom made train frequency posters.

Westminster Pies - Straight up, this is a 'English themed' pie shop that I saw in a shopping centre in Durban whilst on holiday in South Africa in 2005. The pies didn't look that good to be honest, so I didn't have one ...

Hanover Street - is a made up station in the Harrison Ford film of the same name.

Waterloo Records & Video - A lovely lady in Austin, Texas emailed me to say that lots of places in Austin used to be called "Waterloo ..." as that was the original name of the city. Now, there are not that many places left, but there is this - Waterloo Records & Video - which uses the LU roundel on its website.

The station 'Cairo East' - appears on the front sleeve of the 1980 hit single for Madness 'Baggy Trousers' (although I seem to recall it later popped up in the video for 'My Girl' at a later date as well).

You can just about see it in the black & white picture here in the left.

Vauxhall Cross - Is used in the James Bond film 'Die another day', Bond meeting up with 'M' for a secret undeground meeting in this now disused station.

Hobbs Lane from "Quatermass and the Pit" (Hammer Horror) - meant to be a Central Line station.
